DRV Conveyors carries out workshop-based conveyor belt refurbishment services in our workshop located 20 minutes north of Newcastle in Heatherbrae, NSW. Opened in 2018, the workshop was established with the goal to service coal mines and quarries with high quality, cost effective and transparent conveyor belt services. The workshop is set-up with multiple splicing tables, 10t winders and the capability of splicing up to 1600mm belt. DRV Conveyors has the experience and equipment to cover most workshop-based refurbishments.
Experienced Conveyor Belt Splicers
All conveyor belt refurbishment services conducted by DRV Conveyors are carried out by the Workshop Maintenance Team. Our Managing Director, Dan Rodgers is an experienced Fitter and Belt Splicer with a wealth of experience and understanding of multiple conveyor belt systems, types and splicing techniques. All Workshop Maintenance Team staff are fully qualified belt splicers or have completed or are undertaking a certificate in Polymer Processing. All conveyor belt refurbishments are completed to strict Quality Assurance guidelines to achieve the highest standards of workmanship. All products used in the refurbishment process are from reputable brands as per customer specifications.
Responsibly Tracked Conveyor Belt Refurbishments
All conveyor belts supplied for refurbishment by the coal mine are carefully catalogued and tracked by the metre so that all lengths of belt may be accounted for by the customer. DRV Conveyors has created an online ‘Customer Portal’ which is available on our website for our customers to instantly access up-to-date information relating to the conveyor belt that we have on hand at any given time. This online system is designed to provide an honest, accurate and transparent account of the coal mines conveyor belt stock on hand and can be accessed on demand.
