DRV Conveyors undertake conveyor belt thickness testing of coal mine conveyor belts. Our experienced Conveyor Technicians are able to test carry and pulley conveyor belt covers on both ply and steel cord construction conveyor belts. This method of testing produces accurate data which can be utilised in informative thickness testing reports for our customers.
Sophisticated Testing Methods
DRV Conveyors uses sophisticated thickness testing equipment to take multiple and precise thickness measurements at key intervals along the conveyor belt. The collected thickness testing data points are recorded and the data is then formatted to create graphs that can be used as visual aids to discern wear trends in the conveyor belt. This report provides a full summary of the findings, including current wear trend patterns, current wear rate per month and the projected lifespan of the conveyor belt covers. Our reports are detailed, accurate and returned to our customers in a timely manner.
